I've been playing piano since I 2006, studying with teachers in Northern California. I began interning teaching in 2018 at the Folsom Piano Academy in Folsom, California, and have been teaching private piano lessons for four years. Besides teaching, I compose classical music and play bassoon! Check out my other pages for more about me! I presently attend the San Francisco Conservatory of Music pursuing my Bachelors in Music.
In lessons, I generally follow The Music Tree, a tried and tested piano method book for children (and the one I learned on growing up!) However, I enjoy customizing each lesson for my students, finding things that sparks an interest for each individual.
I typically teach students from grade levels K through 12, but I am open to students of all ages. Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org for inquiries, or use the contact box below! On Mondays through Thursdays, I teach in and around Hayes Valley in San Francisco, CA. On Saturdays, I teach in El Dorado Hills, CA. Contact me for my studio's address!
I teach 30 minute lessons at your location, online, or Union Music on Market Street, SF. If I am teaching siblings back-to-back, the lessons come at a $5 discount due to convenience! I typically teach one lesson per student per week.
Per Lesson Billing: 30 minute lesson @ your location - $35 30 minute lesson @ Union Music - $30 30 minute lesson online - $25
Please note that my ability to teach at Union Music is subject to their hours and room availibility.
I will purchase all books needed and will and will bill you for them (often at a discount). If you wish to buy your own books, please let me know in advance.
I request that you pay me for lessons through Venmo or PayPal the day of the lesson.
I request that you allow me to add your phone number or email to my Remind.com notification service to receive updates.
If you let me know 24 hours before the lesson that your child will be unable to attend, I will not ask you to pay for the lesson.
If you let me know later than 24 hours before the lesson that your child will be unable to attend, I will still ask you to pay for the lesson as if they had attended.
